Our Year 4 pupils produced an amazing performance of Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies.

The scene is set in Sherwood Forrest where our beautifully articulated narrator sets each scene. Maid Marian and the villagers are at their wits end with paying taxes to the spoilt and selfish King John.

After seeing an advert in the ‘Sherwood Times’, Maid Marion enrols the help of Robin and his Merry Men to fight off the evil and mean Sheriff of Nottingham.  Comically, it turns out the Merry Men are not soldiers but entertainers and there unfolded a tale of song, dance and comedy.  With hilarious characters as Nursie and Grabbit and Bolt, the audience roared with laughter.

Each actor, from the smallest role to the largest, had their moment and knew exactly what they were supposed to be doing.  We have seen many performances by young children but this has been one of our favorite productions! We found ourselves smiling throughout and wanting to sing along to the heart warming and up lifting songs.  We are very proud of every single member of the cast.
