To celebrate the start of term, year six braved camping out on the school field overnight. Torrential rain early in the evening cleared beautifully to reveal a perfect starry sky overnight. Many of the children had never spent a night under canvas, and had a steep, enjoyable learning curve when putting up their tents. A very sleepy bunch of children enjoyed a quiet breakfast at school the morning after. Well done year six children, for collaborating so well together, and for putting on a brave, cheerful face the day after, despite having had very little sleep!!
