Last term Year 3 were lucky enough to go on a trip to The Corinium Museum in Cirencester. In the Autumn Term, we had studied the Bronze Age to Iron Age and in the Spring Term, we were learning all about the Romans so this trip was a fantastic way of finishing off our history topics. At the museum, both classes were able to look at all the interesting artefacts and talk to local specialists about mosaics and Roman soldiers and then had a workshop with the lovely Rebecca where we able to dress up and learn about everyday life as a Roman. The children were absolute super stars and had plenty of interesting questions for the experts. The mosaics were incredible and we loved seeing what archaeologists have uncovered – it has inspired us to do our own archaeology in Outdoor Learning. Thank you to all the parents that made the trip possible
