Meals are cooked daily in our own kitchens by Caterlink. The catering company is obliged to provide a carefully balanced and healthy menu.
Parents pay for school dinners through ‘Parentpay’ and will be issued with a user name and password when their child starts school.
- Meals cost £2.32 per day.
- Free meals are available for those on income support, income-based jobseeker’s allowance or child tax credit and forms are available at the school office.
- All Infant children are now entitled to Free School Dinners.
Children may, of course, bring their own packed lunch, which is also eaten in the dining area.
*** Covid-19 Update *** We had hoped to be able to provide hot lunches from September, however our risk assessment deemed the movement of children and hot meals to be a potential risk. We have therefore decided that initially we will only provide a packed lunch to those in Reception, Years 1 and 2, along with children in Key Stage 2 who are in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM). These packed lunches may not contain everything your child likes. At the moment the only choice they get is ham or cheese for the roll filling.
Packed lunches should be brought to school in plastic lunchboxes that can be easily cleaned. Can we politely ask that no child brings in a fabric or fluffy lunch box of any kind. Thank you. ********
