Home learning: PE, health and well–being resources
We know that in the last lockdown physical activity levels amongst children decreased and with the darker evenings and colder weather we anticipate that physical activity levels may decrease even more compared to the last lock down.
We understand and value the positive impact being physically active has on our physical and emotional well–being. To support 30 minutes of physical activity each day, MoveMore have created some online content for you and provided us with a series of links and suggestions to help families during lockdown.
A series of fun activities focusing on different key skills using equipment found in the house.
This resource includes very simple videos that children and parents/siblings can easily follow. It will help to develop a range of basic skills over this six-week period.
We are also pleased to be able to offer a set of yoga teaching videos. The techniques can be introduced to young people as full yoga sessions or in small bite sized chunks to enable children to better focus, shift energy or create a sense of calm.
