We had a wonderful week celebrating everything STEM related in Reception. We were so excited to watch the progress of our ‘Living Eggs’ each day and loved seeing them hatch. We all held them in the second week. They were all very cute!
We also created our own vegetable soup; using our peeling and cutting skills to prepare the vegetables and then cooking it at forest school and eating it with some bread. Some of us loved it, some of us, not so much!
We also carried out several experiments including a jumping worms one and one testing the best materials for a wellington boot for Paddington.
Towards the end of the week, we were lucky enough to have a TEAMs visit from Mrs Potter, Elodie’s Mummy who is a teddybear artist. She told us all about her job and sent us some of the materials she uses to touch and feel. It was brilliant and we learnt so much!
