Another super Children’s Mental Health Week celebrated here at Woodmancote School following the national theme of “Let’s Connect”. Children in all classes took extra time this week to think about connecting with one another as well as connecting with their own feelings and emotions. Children across the school participated in the NSPCC “Speak Out, Stay Safe” assemblies and activities, along with other tasks including yoga, sending postcards, practising breathing techniques and using feeling blob trees to name a few. An amazing week but as we all know looking after our mental health is a daily activity and not just something for one week. A value we respect and promote with the children here at school.
