A huge congratulations to our cricket teams for their effort and teamwork last week. On Wednesday, the girls’ team performed brilliantly against strong opposition from other schools across Cheltenham. For many, it was their first experience of competitive cricket, and they represented the school with real confidence and determination.
On Friday, our Year 6 team took part in the Eddie Wilson Cup. After playing some fantastic cricket, they won their first two games against Grangefield and Swindon Village, before narrowly missing out on the overall win in an exceptionally close final against Bishop’s Cleeve.
A huge congratulations to the whole team for representing Woodmancote so brilliantly, and a special mention to Rupert, who received an award for his excellent bowling.
