The Governors at Woodmancote School are not distant figures but very much in evidence. They make regular visits to review progress and carry out their monitoring of the teaching and learning that takes place, but they also enjoy informal visits to see the children in plays and concerts, attend social functions and support the many activities taking place in this lively village school.
Some governors provide additional adult presence on trips and outings, others regularly hear reading. The result of all this involvement, we believe, is a happy and confident atmosphere for children and adults alike.
The Governors are particularly proud of the GOOD outcome of the last OFSTED inspection – the result of hard work by all concerned.
The staff and children work hard and have fun, we are all committed to the continuing development of Woodmancote School and look ahead with confidence.
