On Tuesday 18th June, Woodmancote School took 120 children up Cleeve Hill and onto the common. This was some children’s first time on the hill and they delighted in the natural beauty on display. The school was greeted with smiles from golfers and fellow walkers as the children traversed over ten kilometres in a little under six hours. The teachers of Year Four and Five would like to extend their thanks to all involved in making this trip happen with a special mention to Cleeve Golf Course for letting us use their facilities. We look forward to repeating this trip for a third time next year.
