Last month, nine KS2 children were chosen to represent Woodmancote School against seven other Cheltenham schools in a Panathlon event.
From the moment they boarded the bus, all the way through the eight activities, to the minute they stepped back into school, our team of Logan, Amelia-Rose, Rylee, Maxwell, Macy, Mikey, Matthew, Harry and Archie, beamed with pride and excitement. They were simply a credit to our school and gave their absolute best. Well done children.
The event, organised via our MoveMore membership, is run by the The Panathlon Challenge. This is a national charity which provides sporting opportunities for over 17,500 disabled young people each year. It is an event that promotes inclusivity in sport and gives children a chance to represent our school in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
The team left with medals, t-shirts, certificates and great memories. Well done children, you were absolutely amazing!
