Ten Pin Bowling Panathlon

On Friday 2nd December, six KS2 children were chosen to represent Woodmancote School against seven other Cheltenham schools in a Ten Pin Bowling Panathlon event. Team Woodmancote WON!

The team of Lilac, Amelia-Rose, Lilia, Macy, Mikey and Matthew were simply a credit to our school and gave their absolute best. They were polite, well-mannered, respectful, supportive of one another & displayed great teamwork.

The event, organised via our MoveMore membership, is run by the The Panathlon Challenge. This is a national charity which provides sporting opportunities for over 17,500 disabled young people each year. It is an event that promotes inclusivity in sport and gives children a chance to represent our school in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

The team left with GOLD medals, a winner’s trophy and certificates. In addition, Mikey left with his own trophy for being the ‘HOT SHOT’ out of all the children competing!

Well done, Team Woodmancote.
