PPA Teacher – KS2

Woodmancote School is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Teacher who would fit into our happy, reflective and hard working team. The successful candidate should have an excellent understanding of recent developments in the teaching of maths, have high expectations for behaviour and be confident with dealing with children with a wide range of abilities. The post will involve teaching across a specific number of classes on a regular basis, so may be appropriate for Early Career Teachers.

The successful candidate should

  • Be able to establish and maintain excellent relationships with all members of the school community
  • Be reflective and able to act upon advice from others
  • Have an excellent understanding of the importance of Reading for primary aged children
  • Secure good progress for children, by having a comprehensive understanding of formative assessment.

The role is full time and fixed term initially until 21/7/22.

Midday Supervisor

Woodmancote School is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor. The role will require somebody who can work as part of a team and take responsibility for supervising children both in the dinner hall, and afterwards in the playground (or classroom in the event of wet weather), ensuring that their safety and welfare is maintained at all times.  

5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 12.15-1.15pm) (term time only).

Grade 2 (pts 2-3) £18,198 – £18,562 pa pro-rata
