Supply Teacher Bank

Woodmancote School is seeking to increase its bank of qualified supply teachers, specifically those with experience in SEND.

The successful candidates will be flexible, with the ability to cover ad-hoc staff absences at short notice. Cover requirements vary from half to full days and may sometimes be for a period longer than one day.

We are ideally looking for individuals who are happy to work across all year groups, but for strong candidates we will consider those who would prefer to specify a particular key stage.

Our supply teachers are paid at a rate up to the equivalent of main scale 3, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be able to fulfil the essential requirements of the Job Description.

Applicants will be subject to recruitment and selection procedures designed to emphasise the school’s commitment to the safeguarding of its pupils and staff. These procedures include questioning at the interview stage, verification of appropriate qualification, acquiring references, and necessary safety checks.

Midday Supervisor

Woodmancote School is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor. The role will require somebody who can work as part of a team and take responsibility for supervising children both in the dinner hall, and afterwards in the playground (or classroom in the event of wet weather), ensuring that their safety and welfare is maintained at all times.  

5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 12.15-1.15pm) (term time only).

Grade 2 (pts 2-3) £18,198 – £18,562 pa pro-rata
